BPO Associate Director

 

THE ROLE

We are looking for an Associate Director of BPO services to join us at our office in Mayfair (London) and become leaders in the transformation phase of the wider group.

 

The position reports directly to the Associate Director or, in the case of the Associate Director role, to the leadership team.

 

 

The key objectives of the role are:

 

  • Manage and develop own portfolio of clients, including prepare own financial statements, VAT and tax returns, consolidated financial statements, management accounts, regulatory reporting (e.g. FCA) provide support to and liaise with interdepartmental heads (personal tax, payroll, private client/multi-family office advisory, audit etc).

  • Further develop, mentor and manage the teams into more effective and efficient service providers, including planning and monitoring work and resources within agreed budgets.

  • Regularly review work for quality and compliance.

  • Provide technical advice to the team and clients.

  • Lead on developing excellent client service and relationships with clients.

  • Awareness of clients' affairs and opportunities to provide value added services.

  • Build knowledge and awareness of all aspects of the firm's service to help identify opportunities to up sell and cross sell services to clients.

  • Respond quickly to, as well as anticipate client requests/needs, keep clients informed of progress in relation to all aspects of the service provided and maintain regular contact with clients.

  • Recognize and keep the Partner informed about, any new business opportunities for own and other departments arising on existing and new clients.

  • Liaise with HMRC, clients, banks, other professionals.

  • Ensure assignments are completed within agreed budgets and keep all parties informed of overruns.

  • Ensure that the firm’s quality control procedures are adhered to.

  • Identify risk and technical matters, whilst exercising judgement within agreed parameters.

  • Must provide overall compliance and technical support on client matters.

  • Actively participate in bids/proposals for new work.

  • Manage WIP and Billing process.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

Essential/Desirable (E/D)

  • At least 15 years’ experience for Associate Director position in a BIG4 Accountancy firm (E)

  • Qualified accountant (FCA/FCCA) (E)

  • Extensive multi-disciplinary management accounting knowledge, corporation tax, FCA and other regulatory reporting experience (E)

  • Excellent level of Microsoft Office Suite (E)

  • Experience of supervising teams (E)

  • IFRS /UK GAAP knowledge (E)

  • Fluent English (E) and at least 1 of the major European languages (Italian, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese) preferably Italian (D)

  • External audit experience (D)

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Onesource Tax, Sage Tax and IRIS Business Tax

  • Excellent working knowledge of IRIS, SAGE, SAP and XERO accounting packages (E)

Client Relationship Coordinator

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Client Relationship Co-Ordinator able to think out of the box to assist our Private Client Advisory team in Mayfair (London) and become a team player working in co-ordination with the leadership team of the A.C.T. group.

 

The position reports to a Team Manager.

 

The key objectives of the role are:

 

  • Incorporation, domiciliation and management of national and international companies and trusts in line with current national and international legislations

  • Implementation of complex financial transactions and tax structures

  • Providing first point of contact with important and high net worth clients and suppliers

  • Ensuring that the client files up to date and accessible to fellow members of the teams at all times

  • Dealing with new business leads and necessary follow up

  • Management of client bank accounts, performing any required money transfers, payments and related transactions in a number of currencies

  • Providing billing support and debt collection when required as well as regular forecasts and proposals for income collection

  • Support in the drafting of legal documents and letters relating to client transactions

  • Maintenance of basic bookkeeping, bank reconciliation and VAT compliance work

  • Regular contact with banks, solicitors, agents

  • Providing support and research to members of the team

  • Assist in providing overall compliance and administrative support on client matters

  • Assist in bids/proposals for new work

  • Assist in the WIP and Billing process

  • Supporting the Manager in a range of any other duties, as requested on a day to day basis

 

Knowledge, skills & qualifications

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English

  • Fluency (native language) in at least Spanish, Italian or French

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure on multiple projects to meet deadlines

  • Excellent level of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Minimum 2:1 university degree in Economics, Finance or Law

  • Previous work experience in a Private Client environment, Trust Company or a Multi-Family Office

  • Bookkeeping/Accounting knowledge desirable, as is a legal background (or willingness to obtain a professional qualification such as the ACA, International Tax LLM or Company Secretarial or STEP)

Associate Director of Private Client Management

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Team Manager to join the Private Client Advisory and Operations team at our office in Mayfair (London) to lead the operations team in building and maintaining relationships with clients and manage the successful implementation and delivery of projects, while ensuring technical excellence.

 

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF PRIVATE CLIENT MANAGEMENT

The position reports to the COO and Founder of ACT London  

 

The key objectives of the role are:

 

  • Implementation of complex financial transactions and cross-border structures (includes incorporation, domiciliation and management of national and international companies and trusts in line with current national and international legislation

  • Manage, develop and service the needs of the current portfolio of clients, including their national and international companies and trusts in line with current legislation

  • At least 7 years work experience in a Trust Company, Multi-Family Office, international Chartered Accountancy firm or equivalent private client tax advisory and compliance environment (E)

  • Fluency in at least 1 of the major European languages (Spanish, Italian, French, German, Portuguese, Russian or Turkish) (E) or Asian languages (Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese) (D)

  • Qualified solicitor or Chartered Accountant with CTA or STEP, with concrete technical knowledge in international tax, trust, wealth management matters (E)

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines (E)

  • Extensive experience in leading and managing a multi-cultural team (E)

  • Good presentation and networking skills (E)
