Removal of 1.5% Charge for Stamp Taxes on Shares

HMRC have announced the removal of the 1.5% charge on the issue of UK securities into depositary receipt systems and clearance services and on certain related transfers.

Additionally, the 1.5% (or 0.2%) fee linked to the issuance of bearer instruments has also been removed.
